| Mass Appeal |  Event Date(s):
|
| | To Do: | Plays | | Event Type: | Play Reading | | Details: | Ashland Community Theatre and Oregon Stage Works are pleased to present a staged reading of Mass Appeal by Bill C. Davis*. This reading of Mass Appeal came out of the actor’s workshop which is part of Oregon Stage Works Training and Performance Program, and is directed by Peter Alzado.
Beginning with a confrontational meeting between a priest and a young seminarian at a “dialogue sermon”, Mass Appeal humorously explores current issues in the Roman Catholic church, through “the polarity of rebelliousness born of natural authority, and the urge to accommodate born out of the need to be loved and liked.”*
Mass Appeal features Brian Wallace and Jackson Campbell, and will be presented at 8:00 p.m. each Monday in March, at Nuwandart Gallery at 258 ‘A’ Street in Ashland. Tickets are $7.00 at the door. | | Starts: | 8:00 PM | | Ends: | 10:00 PM | | Location: | Nuwandart Gallery 258 A Street Ashland, OR 97520 | | |
