Southern Oregon University Extended Campus Programs presents the Vocal Arts Academy Northwest August 18-22. Brochures are available now.

The Vocal Arts Academy is an intensive vocal music program for intermediate and advanced singers, age 15 and up, to develop skills required of classical vocalists: vocal technique, interpretation, sight-singing, and an awareness of performance practice and operatic conventions.

Faculty includes an acting coach from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and internationally known conductor, pianist and opera coach, Grant Gershon. The week includes individual voice lessons, acting and diction for singers, coaching in French, German and Italian.
