Jazz Lineup for Rogue Valley

Lot's of local jazz to catch this weekend.

At Jazbo's this week. Jazbo's is Ashland's newest venue to hear live jazz on the weekends. It's located at 119 A Street in Ashland and the phone # is 552-JAZZ Ed Dunsavage, solo jazz guitar, Wednesday, (tonight) June 25 from 8-10 p.m. On Friday, the Robin Lawson Trio featuring Jim Calhoun and Lyle Aimes will perform. On Saturday, Portland guitarist John Stowell will make a rare appearance in Ashland. John is a world class guitarist so please try to stop by to hear him. No cover charge.
On Friday, Leslie Kendall & Friends will return to the Bulls-Eye Bistro from 9:00 - midnight.
The Latin Jazz Quartet plays every Sunday at the Standing Stone Brewery in Ashland from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. on the deck, weather permitting.
The Easy Valley Eight plays the 2nd Saturday of every month at the Standing Stone Brewery from 8 - 11 p.m
The Larry Bernard Small Band plays jazz, Latin and other dance music for listening and dancing every Friday from 1:30 to 4:00 at the Medford Moose Lodge, 226 North Ross Lane, Medford. Band donation is $4.00. Open to the public. Call Larry for more info: 541-774-9829.
Larry Bernard's Journey's End Jazz Band will perform in Riverside Park, Grants Pass on Tuesday, July 8, as part of the Grants Pass Chamber Concert in the Park Series, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. Admission is free. Bring chairs or blankets for seating on the grass.
The next meeting of the Rogue Jazz Exchange will take place at the Paschal Winery in Talent on Wednesday, July 9 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
